The Dance
The top-hatted Mr. Squirrel is holding a twig while a chapeu’d Mrs. Squirrel is admiring a bouquet of flowers. This darling pair of vintage pins were produced in the early 1940s. They were designed by Gene Verrecchio for Coro. Made from Silverstone pot metal, they are enameled and have glass cabochon bellies. Gray plaid, gray wool flannel and a fun circle print on the back make up the fabrics. The back is also studded with various sizes of black beads. The handle is unusual as it is made from large double chain and black beads. It measures 38" end to end. Inside the lining is a fun cotton print again in circles. The bag measures 11.5” across the bottom, 9.5” across the top and is 6.5” high. SO FUN!
