Meet Terye Loble, The Artist
Textile art has been Terye’s passion for many years. She began with hand-quilted wall hangings. Amish colors and designs were her particular interest. Many of these are now hanging in corporate offices and conference rooms. Others grace the walls and beds of lovely homes.
Her latest textile creations are “Pochettes” (little purses). Terye has chosen fine fabrics for color, pattern and texture. Each Pochette is unique, an individual work of wearable art embellished with beading, buttons or a piece of vintage jewelry.
Besides creating textile art, Terye has spent the last 18 years owning and operating antique and interior design businesses. All her experience has come together to create the blending of textiles and jewelry in her Pochettes.
You Will Never See Another Pochette Like This
French for “Little Purse”: Each Pochette is individually designed and made with designer and vintage fabrics. The purses are then dressed up with vintage jewelry, beads or buttons. The handles or chains are also hand beaded or repurposed from belts and necklaces. The closure is a magnetic snap. There are surprises inside and out.
The Pochettes look fabulous coming and going. The back is as beautiful as the front so wear them either way for that special occasion or just because you want to feel wonderful. How your bag is worn gives clues about the individuality of YOU. Pochettes are WEARABLE ART.
There are three designs available: The Original, The Mini and The Clutch. The handles vary in length so be sure to check the measurements. Some are shoulder length, others to be hand held.
