Prince Of Prints

This gorgeous Pochette is such a combination of not only prints but colors, shapes and textures. Let’s start with the fabric on the front flap. There is a bird of multiple colors and geometric shapes; several large flowers with interesting shapes and leaves that dance. The fanciful vintage floral brooch takes its place in the center of the large flower. Gold braided loops give such texture to the pin. The back of the purse keeps the fabric from the front alive but with its own unique striped flower and a vintage button claiming the center. A soft braid divides the floral fabric from the large striped one which is then embellished with brass buttons. It is a good thing that there is a small polka dot and striped print to ground everything. If that is not enough the interesting gold handle has its own flowers in between the chain links and there are large dangles hanging from the sides. It measures 39” end to end. The lining is a soft paisley wool in red.  The bag measures 11.5” across the bottom, 9.5” across the top and is 6.5” high. DEPTH AND DETAIL
